linda-ikeji

If you are in the business of media and entertainment, you need to watch your back because popular Nigerian blogger, Linda Ikeji is not smiling at all. She just recently announced the launch of her music website, lindaikejimusic – a full music website that will go beyond providing music for download; it will celebrate music directors, vixens, dancers and everyone contributing in the business of music.

You will recall that Linda Ikeji recently launched her own social network called, Linda Ikeji Social a few weeks back and now this. News reaching us is that she is planning to take over every major aspect of media and entertainment. This is why everyone in the business of media and entertainment need to tie their wrappers as Linda is here to give them a run for their money.

Linda has come a long way and has been viciously criticised by people at different times. Naturally, this should deter her from launching into many fields but she has blocked her ears while she’s focused (just like D’banj advised in his new song) on her goal – building the Linda Ikeji brand to become the power house of media and entertainment in Africa and even the world, if possible.

Except you are a naysayer, Linda’s life is truly inspirational. Started blogging in 2006 but didn’t make any money from it until about six years after. She has gone from being the girl in obscurity to becoming the most famous Nigerian blogger.

At the time she started, blogging wasn’t even yet a thing in Nigeria but she loved it and stayed with it.

We can all take a lesson from her life by staying with what we love and doing everything we need to do to ensure we make a success out of it.

Linda Ikeji’s life isn’t perfect, like many would argue but this isn’t about the ‘imperfectness’ of her life but about the inspiration she has become. She is a testament that says success is possible if you commit to it.

Is she about to take over the media and entertainment industry in Nigeria? Only time will tell.
